London Rat Race final details...
London Rat Race awaits you – the concluding UK Rat Race event is set to crown an incredible year of experiences and urban adventures. The ultimate venue for the ultimate Rat Race is once again in the shadow of the Tower Bridge,and the route will set forth across the City streets and cycleways, taking you to a very special collection of activity and action venues.
The London Rat Race is coming...
The London Rat Race plans to be bolder and more ambitious than last year, with some fascinating cycle routes, where you will discover some truly hidden parts of the Capital. We will be visiting a few favourite venues from last year after popular demand, but almost all the interconnecting course will be new and still expect to use your taste buds to gain precious points again (it won't be seafood though!) I would highly recommend tyres with good grip as there will be many parts of the course where you will need it. Bike bells are mandatory kit and they will be essential this year.

London has been ratified
The rats have scuttled off to hibernate for another year as this weekend past witnessed the final Rat Race for 2007 andLondon's first. With close to 700 competitors the tenth Rat Race was the biggest yet, making it the largest adventure race the world has ever seen and the black clad masses were in for a 24 hour tour of the capital like no other. Instead of seeing the sights atop open top buses they abseiled over, cycled past and ran through and over everything on a tourists tick list, not to mention visiting a few more wacky locations off the beaten track...

This will be the last mail-out from Rat HQ in advance of the London event. We are looking forward to greeting you all at Potters Field Park this coming weekend and thank every one of you for joining us in this inaugural London Rat Race event - it's going to be one hell of a journey.

You have chosen to join us as we prepare to ratify the Capital for the inaugural London Rat Race Urban Adventure - it's been a good choice and you're in for a great adventure. So far this year it's been a superb season of Rat racing. In Bristol we had the rocky horror picture show, tree climbing and a nice dip in the river - via the end of a rope! In Edinburgh we had a runaway bride, deep fried Mars bars and abseiling at Hearts FC's Stadium. Just what has the London Course Planning team got up its sleeve for you this coming September 29 and 30th we wonder?
